The Japan Industrial Vehicle Association announced on February 22nd that the production of forklift trucks in January totaled 6,787 units, showing a decrease of 18.9% compared to the same month last year. Battery-powered forklifts reached 4,149 units (a decrease of 13.7%), while engine-powered forklifts totaled 2,638 units (a decrease of 25.9%).
