On the 21st, Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK) announced that they will be introducing a training program for crew members of Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs), the first of its kind in Japan, at the planned “Wind and Sea School Akita” in Oga City, Akita Prefecture. This training program received certification for maritime education and training from the Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (ClassNK) on the 7th.
