According to the preliminary data on cargo movement trends in major container routes released by the Japan Maritime Center on the 21st, the volume of cargo on the North American outbound route in January increased by 11% from the same month of the previous year to 1,664,035 TEUs, marking the first positive growth in four months. In November, the North American inbound route saw a 5.3% increase with 529,941 TEUs.
