On the 27th, Bridgestone announced that they will cease production and sales of radial tires for trucks and buses at their local Chinese subsidiary, Bridgestone (Shenyang) Tire Co., Ltd. (BSCN), by the first half of this year and withdraw from the Chinese market. They plan to reallocate resources to the premium tire market for passenger vehicles moving forward.
