On February 28th, Mizuho Lease, Mizuho Auto Lease, Maruwa Unyu Kikan, and FOMM announced a collaborative initiative to promote the shift towards EVs in last-mile delivery transportation. As part of this initiative, they have commenced a demonstration project using converted EVs utilizing gasoline vehicles whose lease terms have expired. This project aims to showcase the feasibility and benefits of using converted EVs for last-mile delivery services.
