On February 28th, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism released the loading rates for mid to long-distance ferries and roll-on/roll-off (RORO) ships involved in truck transportation for the period of October to December 2023. This data release is in line with the “Policy Package for Logistics Innovation” established in June last year, which aims to shift long-distance truck transport to marine vessels as part of promoting modal shift towards more sustainable transportation methods.
