On February 28th, Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Co. and the Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Research Institute, in collaboration with ENEOS Ocean, announced that they have decided to install a newly developed feature on the berthing assistance system they jointly developed. This system will be installed on all Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCC) operated by ENEOS Ocean. The enhanced system aims to improve safety and efficiency during berthing and docking operations for large oil tankers.
