On February 28th, Nippon Life Insurance conducted a survey targeting 258 small and medium-sized road freight transport business owners and self-employed individuals in the industry in mid-December 2023 to understand their circumstances. The results of the survey were released, revealing insights into the challenges and preparedness of these businesses. The survey highlighted that 50% of small and medium-sized transport businesses are unprepared for the challenges anticipated in 2024.
