On the 1st, NEXCO East Japan announced that they have started a trial of "Short-Term Parking Spaces" at the down line of the Tohoku Expressway Adatara SA and Kunimi SA from the same day. These parking spaces require vehicles to depart within 60 minutes after parking, and are being introduced experimentally to assess the effectiveness of managing short-term parking needs at these service areas.
