“Land Freight Fatal Workplace Accidents Down by Four Compared to Last Year”
On the 19th, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare released a preliminary report on the “Status of Occupational Accidents in March.” According to the report, the preliminary number of fatalities in the land freight transportation industry in 2024 was 13, which represents a decrease of 4 individuals compared to the same period last year, marking a 23.5% reduction. Additionally, the average number of days of absence due to non-fatal occupational accidents was 4 days.
