“SM Logistics Study Group Expands to 15 Companies, Aims to Reduce Loading Wait Times by 2024”
The activities of the “SM Logistics Study Group,” launched by four major supermarkets (Summit, Maruetsu, Yaoko, Life Corporation) in March last year, have been increasingly dynamic. According to a press release held on March 21st at the Japan Supermarket Association, the participating companies have expanded to 15 firms.
The SM Logistics Study Group aims to address the challenges related to the “2024 Problem” and aims to reduce waiting times for cargo to one hour.
