“Air Freight Association Reports 2.08% Decline in Weight-Based Exports in February”
According to the data released by the Japan Aircargo Forwarders Association on March 25th, the international air cargo handling performance for February showed a decrease in export volume compared to the same month last year. The number of exports was 174,561 pieces, reflecting a 7.69% decrease, while the weight stood at 61,434,846.4 kilograms, marking a 2.08% decrease.
When broken down by destination, the export volume to North America decreased by 2.21%, while exports to Europe experienced a decrease of 0.35%. These figures indicate the ongoing challenges and fluctuations in international air cargo transportation, influenced by various factors impacting global trade and logistics operations.
