“NEXCO West Japan Announces Night Closures on National Route 10 for Road Expansion Work”

On the 21st, NEXCO West Japan announced that construction work for the expansion to four lanes on the Haya-Kyushu Expressway (Hayato Road) between the Hayato Higashi Interchange (IC) and Hayato Nishi IC in Kagoshima Prefecture will be carried out. The construction is scheduled to commence in June and is expected to span approximately five months.

During this period, intermittent bridge construction work and other related construction activities will be conducted on National Route 10 to facilitate the expansion project.
