On March 5th, Teikoku Databank (TDB) released the TDB Economic Trends Survey (National) – February 2024 survey results. According to the survey, the domestic economy has deteriorated for the second consecutive month. The Economic Diffusion Index (DI) for February 2024 decreased by 0.3 points compared to the previous month. Despite record-high stock prices, the survey indicates a decline in economic conditions in Japan, particularly in the transportation and warehousing sectors.
