On March 8th, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism announced the decision to newly certify one company as an Eco Rail Mark initiative participant, certify one product as an approved item, and recognize three companies as sponsors during the 46th “Eco Rail Mark Operation and Review Committee” meeting chaired by Professor Hirohito Kuse of the Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology. This recognition highlights the commitment of these entities to promote environmentally sustainable practices within the railway industry.
