On February 29th, West Nippon Expressway Company (NEXCO West Japan) announced that they have reported Seitoku Transport, a transportation company based in Kumamoto Prefecture, to the Kumamoto Prefectural Police for repeatedly allowing vehicles to pass that significantly exceed the general limit specified by the vehicle restriction order. According to the announcement, Seitoku Transport had been in violation of this regulation since 2023.
